Founded in 2016, Dream&Do School Vietnam is one of the very first educational organization in Vietnam that follow the mission of connection. The school educational philosophies & programs is aimed at strengthening the connection between human & nature, human & human, and human with themselves. Dream&Do has conducted many outdoor, skill-building, nature oriented, and social-oriented educational programs for kids mainly from 5 -14 such as Survival Kid, Survival Camp, Travel&Learn. In this summer 2019, we are going to launch a new summer camp concept for students from 9 -14 named Vietnam International Peace Camp which aimed at equipping our students with understanding of global peace issues and 21 century skills.

We are looking for international volunteers who can facilitate camp activities such as: games, group discussions, presentations. We believe that not only your skills but also your cultural background will be an valuable assets of this camp.

Position Summary

  • Duration of employment: depends on the availability;
  • Type of employment: Short-term; Volunteer;
  • Working with: Students aged 9 to 14;
  • Language used: English;
  • Type of camp: overnight, 5 days 4 nights;

Primary duties:

Facilitate outdoor/indoor activities, group discussion, and presentation of students which relate to topics such as: international culture, peace, skills follow Dream&Do programs 

Your duties are not limited to:

  • Serving as a positive role model for youth;
  • Using your own knowledge and experience to develop activities to inspire students to become change makers & peace builder.
  • Running a variety of small and large group activities for students, encouraging students, participation, and providing information to students regarding activities;
  • Assisting in maintaining program records including incident reports and attendance;
  • Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise;
  • Attending scheduled meetings throughout the programs;
  • Taking responsibility for the safety of students and reporting any issues or problems to the Camp Director;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for?

The applicant must:

  • Volunteers currently living in ASEAN countries (including Vietnam)
  • Be older than 18 (count to April 1st, 2019);
  • Be advanced in English;
  • Be enthusiastic, positive, creative, responsible, organized, and love to work with children and teenager;
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team;
  • Have the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and to think and act creatively on the go;
  • Commit to work throughout the duration of the program.


  • Covered meals, accommodation and transportation within camping time. Volunteers will be hosted by local Dream&Do staff when he/she is out or the camp time.
  • Round-trip international air-ticket to Vietnam from your country.
  • Great opportunities to influence and inspire students in Vietnam;
  • Engage in various activities and exchange cultures
  • Enjoy the moments with other Mentor and Vietnamese students;

The International Volunteer will only be responsible for:

  • Accident and health insurance;
  • Personal transportation not including in the program.
  • Visa application (if needed)


  • Be available to attend 4 camps in June and 1 week training before the first camp starts.
  • Strongly intereted in working with kids
  • Have international experiences such as: study abroad, attend international exchange programs...
  • Experience in managing group minimum of 10 people;
  • Active and outgoing personality;
  • Passion for enriching and innovating educational experiences;
  • Understanding of children and teenagers psychological treats;
  • Excellent oral communication skills;
  • Attending the training and planning week before the camp session begins;

Period: 4 camps

  • Camp 1: June 3rd to June 7th
  • Camp 2: June 10th to June 14th
  • Camp 3: June 17th to June 21st
  • Camp 4: June 24th to June 28th

Volunteer is expected to arrive 1 week before the first camp starts and fully attend 4 camps as scheduled.
